Artist guide to selling and promoting ringtones on Cingular Mobile Music Studio

Cingular's Mobile Music Studio (www.myspace.com/cingularstudio) is offering myspace artist some kind of a ringtone deal with the revenues being slpit between the artist and Cingular.
To become a Mobile Music Artist just visit www.myspace.com/cingularstudio, click on the unsigned artist banner and an application will pop up,just fill out all the required field, agree to the terms and conditions and you will be asked to upload your song(no more than 30 sec) . After you completed this process it'll take about 2 to 3 months for them to get your ringtone ready.
But it unfortunate that as an artist you only get 25% of the net revenue from your ringtone sells ,looking on the bright side its a great promotional tool to get your music to a greater audience.
i signed up for the mobile studio back in November 06 and i just got an email saying that my ringtone is live and available for sale. You get an HTML code that you can paste anywhere and fans can purchase you ringtone directly from there.
Check out my ringtone and give me some feedback.

MAKING MUSIC WITH A MAC VERSUS MAKING MUSIC ON A PC

Its a been a couple of months since i purchase my first mac( a macbook) .Its been a hard decision for me choosing which system to run my music applications. Ive been a Pc user ever since i came to this world but my introduction to the macintosh world was about to change my mind .Being a student at the Institute of Audio research all the computers we used were macs running Pro Tools, Reason 3.0 and various soft synths. after a couple of weeks of steady computing and recording i came to my own conclusion that mac computers and its operating system were going to be the heart of my production, so i sold my dell dimension E520 and purshased a brand new Macbook running at 2ghz dualcore with 2 gb of ram and 80gb Hd.
what really changed the way i made music was Logis pro 7.0 , ive used most recording, tracking, sequencinq softwares but Logic took me to the next level with a range of virtual instruments for every genre and style of music.
To anybody out there making music i recommend a mac as your main machine and Logic Pro 7.0 as your sequencer of choice.
